Baby Wave | Art Print

"Baby Wave" is a limited edition art print. The original artwork is an acrylic painting on paper. I used rich colours, tape and different brushes. In the end I didn´t like the whole artwork. Therefore I only picked a few of my favorite and most interestingly structured sections of the painting. I wanted to enlarge them, without loosing any of the details. This required a (insanely) high resolution professional scan to do so. Initially this was an experiment I made to learn how to paint more vigorously, pithily and boldly on big canvasses (in an abstract manner), as I realized I can already do it in smaller dimensions. It´s all about transformation(s).
