The original artwork is painted on olive tree wood, with ink, watercolor and crayons. It shows a horned angel-creature.

I love to paint on olive tree wood. The beautiful wood grain, which I use for inspiration, similar to cloud-reading, always holds interesting shapes which I then incorporate into my artwork. I also leave parts of the wood grain visible and completely unpainted to make it a significant component of the artwork.
